Used to having a lock box,instead of key pick up in town;but it went smoothly enough. Found all clean and comfortable. Great access to beach sites, quiet neighborhood, lovely walks, comfy beds.

Had an early family Christmas in Cambria. Brought up a ham and all the fixings. Kitchen was a good size and had what we needed to warm up everything and serve. The proximity to the ocean and the sunsets were a bonus. Would stay here again.

A wonderful home just steps away from some lovely walks along the CA coastline!

My husband, our dog, and I had the most wonderful and relaxing 11 days in the Sherwood Home in Cambria. Everything was perfect, the views, the house, the rental agency. We definitely want to return to this house. The neighborhood is quiet, and the access to the ocean and the preserve couldn't be more convenient. We enjoyed watching the birds, the sunsets, and cooking most of our meals there. The house was clean, comfortable, and relaxing. We slept in the master bedroom and the bed was so comfortable and we enjoyed sleeping in late. I would recommend this home to anyone who enjoys having outstanding views and walking to the ocean. Thanks so much to Jone and Heidi for being so accomodating.

Cambria is the best spot for a relaxed and enjoyable stay. The rental Home was comfortable reasonably appointed and in a super location. Quiet next to the beach and some hiking trails. The unit showed various signs of poor maintenance green spa, empty shower dispensers and ill fitting coffee carafe. Still a good stay and the price was right for the location.

This home is another fabulous thing about lovely Cambria! Can’t wait to go back!

House was perfect for a long holiday weekend. The house was well stocked with lots of coffee and paper products. Good view from the deck. CVR is the best,great communication and service.

The beds are cozy, the deck has a nice view and the little gas fireplace is lovely. Most important of all is that it is dog friendly. I've rented from Cambria Vacation Rentals many times over the years and each occasion has been a stellar experience. The homes are always clean and as advertised. Heidi and Jone are always very helpful, courteous and professional. 1980 Sherwood is a quaint little home across from the beach in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood with an amazing ocean view. You can walk just a couple blocks west and hike/bike in the Fiscalini Ranch Preserve or just stay put and enjoy the wonderful tranquility that Cambria has to offer. Another wonderful experience in beautiful Cambria.

Perfect location a short distance to beach access and Fiscalini Ranch Trails. Quiet, beautiful sunsets, and sound of waves on the beach.

We absolutely loved it here! An easy walk to the water and beach access. Loved the views of the ocean. Only wish there was a bathroom upstairs. Otherwise, a very nice home.

My family and I stayed here for 4 days. The house had everything you could ever need. The beds were so comfy and the spa was a plus. Not to mention view of the beach. Was a very short walk to the beach. New washer and dryer. House was clean and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again.

I rented 3 houses for 4 nights for a group of friends we were at 292 Orlando. Besides the Sherwood house we also had one on Windsor.

All were very nice according to the group. I did not see the other two houses.

For the Orlando house we noticed a couple of things that could use some help. The downstairs shower was
not safe - the tub was slippery and we couldn't find a mat to put in the bottom. This is a safety issue. The upstairs shower was fine. Also, the toilets were awfully low making it difficult to rise.

The Orlando house had an empty butane tank for the BBQ. Jone went to a store and brought us briquets but we had borrowed butane from one of the other houses when she brought them.

Each house had problems with the TV - Jone was particularly pleasant and helped us out to get them working.

Heide was particularly helpful helping me rent the right houses for our group.

This house...I'll start with the good. It's across the street from the water, and has pretty good ocean views from upstairs. Marine Terrace area so it's SUPER quiet. The beds seemed newer and were very comfortable. Even tho it's small, it has 2 bathrooms - 1 for each bdrm. A garage that you get to use is a plus, as well as the hot tub (although we didn't use that).
What we didn't like: Upstairs is all living room with a tiny kitchen. You can pretty much only have 1 person doing something in the kitchen at a time. If you really wanted to cook, the pans and stuff are very inadequate. The house was OK size in general for 2 people, but 4 people would be really crowding. The slider to the upstairs patio desperately needs repair - like new roller assembly and stuff. It's really hard to push open. And if you are like us and you get cold easily in Cambria, the heater is pretty much useless except to heat the upstairs. Downstairs it's cold and the heater doesn't really do anything down there. The upstairs has a gas fireplace that just operates with a switch, and that's nice to have. Overall our stay was good, but this house needs some fixing up and it's just not one of CVRs better ones.

The house we stayed at was perfect for our party of 4 plus 2 dogs. It had comfortable beds, great view of the ocean, nice clean kitchen and open floor plan. It is located close to Fiscalini ranch where we enjoyed a nice walk admiring the ocean views. Definitely recommend this property for a nice get-away.

We fully enjoyed our stay in this sweet house. We enjoyed the nice quiet neighborhood and the little coves and benches near by. The trails were in walking distance or a very short drive. I have already booked 2 more vacations here and will continue to book more. The deck has a nice view and the house had everything we needed. My only suggestion would be that there would be some screens on the sliding doors and windows to allow the lovely ocean breeze to come through without mosquitoes coming in. My husband and I needed a time away, it had been too long since we had. the overall house just needs a little makeover. Having covers on the recliners are not pretty, as well as the couch needs new springs. The kitchen cupboards needs to be fixed, falling apart. Linens were wonderful, bed was very comfortable! Bathroom sinks stay closed, so they keep standing water, not good! Definitely a tough situation when the bathroom is downstairs and you're in the middle of cooking upstairs.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is located across from the beach, and near two wonderful areas to walk along the bluff over the ocean. You can see the ocean from upstairs and hear the waves crashing.

We loved staying here and falling asleep to the sound of the ocean. Very clean and well-organized! Very easy rental experience. We stayed for a 75th birthday and found this place perfect for a quiet couple of days of cooking, resting, and hanging out by the ocean. Out small dog loved it too!

My husband and I loved our stay on Sherwood Drive. The house was perfect for us. There were two bedrooms all that we only used one. Two full bathrooms With showers with a soothing spray that made you feel like you were in a spa. The kitchen was well-equipped and we made many meals in. Some mornings we’d wake up to fog but it would burn off and turn into a beautiful day. The wildlife was incredible. Deer right there in the neighborhood would turn into statues as we walked by with our 1 1/2 year old dog. He had a wonderful time and because of the statue like deer he didn’t even see them the first time! Instead he barked at a bush! watching him playing in the Ocean was priceless!
We visited many beaches from Pismo beach all the way up north of San Simeon. We found a couple dog friendly beaches and met the nicest locals who had no problem stopping to chat and let our dogs play.

The food around Cambria, Cayucos, and Morro Bay is top notch! The fresh fish market down in Morro has the most amazing Salmon Candy -a must try! We also picked up some halibut “cheeks,” poor man’s scallops and cooked them scampi- style over fresh linguine. I must say it rivaled any restaurant I’ve ever been to! The Sea Chest is one of our favorite dinner restaurants. A local shared her Mexican restaurant so we plan to come back and try that next! Our favorite lunch place is Sandy’s. Love the sourdough!
From the time I reserved to the time I dropped keys off for a check out the managers were so kind and accommodating.
As we had booked a home that is dog friendly, all furnishings were tastefully covered with couch covers. We all had a most fabulous five day getaway. My only recommendation to the homeowner would be to fix the fan in the guest bathroom and have the pilot light for the gas fireplace turned off in summer. When the bathroom fan is on it is very loud! The FP pilot is vocal too- I am super sound sensit

We had a good experience, the house was nice and located near the ocean. The property was two story, with both bedrooms and bathrooms downstairs. It would have been nice to have a bathroom upstairs, but not a deal breaker. The balconies were nice, loved sitting out and hearing the waves crash.

this house was great for our visit. Is close to the water, views from deck wonderful, esp sunset, and close to open area for walking. House was quite comfortable and pretty much provided every we needed.

This was a beautiful beach close and Fiscalini Ranch hike close property in Cambria. nicely appointed kitchen. Great location! Very quiet neighborhood. Nice friendly people. walk to beach. ** note all restrooms and bedrooms are on the ground floor and the living space and kitchen is on the top floor so if you can’t do stairs this might not be the place for you.

Fell in love with the house and view on first sight. Very relaxing waking up with the sound of the ocean. The only thing that could have been more comfortable was the couch. Otherwise a perfect trip. We are already planning another trip here.
